I’m in the midst of some serious winter BLAHS and I know lots of you are feeling the same way – is winter over yet?! To try and cheer you up, I’m hosting another cookbook giveaway!

As I mentioned last month, I’m going to try to host at least one giveaway a month, if not more – make sure you follow my blog so you don’t miss out on all the fun!

February’s Giveaway is for a copy of Cree LeFavour’s cookbook, Pork: More than 50 Heavenly Meals that Celebrate the Glory of Pig, Delicious Pig. This book celebrates all things pig in a variety of delicious recipes! You can read my full review of the cookbook here.

I’m going to second the bacon, otherwise Chinese Red Braised pork belly is pretty amazing. Oh and Chinese roast pork!

My favourite way to prepare pork is to grill pork chops on the bbq with homemade bbq sauce.

BBQ Pork – Filipino style! A sweet take on pork, with cola and ketchup, but balanced out with the saltiness of soy sauce and a little tartness from lemon juice. Cooked on the grill and I’m in heaven 🙂

So many great ways to use pork but our favourite way is to cure it, we make great pancetta and spalla.
